I am a professional translator based in Trondheim, Norway, with more than two decades of experience delivering high-quality translations from English, German, Danish and Swedish into Norwegian. My work combines linguistic precision with a strong grasp of technical, legal and scientific concepts, allowing me to produce texts that are not only accurate and terminologically consistent but also fluent, natural and ready for publication.
Throughout my career, I have worked closely with some of the translation industry’s leading language service providers, including TransPerfect, The Translation People, KERN AG, Translate PLUS, Wolfestone, Northspeech, Avanti, Artemis, CSOFT and Language Insight. These collaborations have given me the opportunity to translate a wide variety of content — from complex European and PCT patent specifications and industrial documentation to user manuals, regulatory texts, medical materials and marketing content.
My core expertise lies in patent and technical translation, especially within mechanical, electrical, chemical and industrial fields. However, I also regularly work with texts in the medical, life science, legal, marketing and lifestyle domains. Across all projects, I pay close attention to detail, style and terminology, ensuring that each translation meets the highest standards of quality.
I hold a Master’s degree in English Linguistics from NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) and a postgraduate specialisation in English for Specific Purposes and Translation from NHH (Norwegian School of Economics). I am also an active member of professional translation networks, and I operate as a registered business in Norway.
